Short video notes, mostly with a static camera and minimal or no editing - like a long photo
Maneki Neko / Beckoning cat
The Maneki Neko (招き猫, literally "Beckoning Cat"; also known as Welcoming Cat, Lucky Cat, Cat Swipe, Money cat, or Fortune Cat; sometimes incorrectly labeled Chinese Lucky Cat) is a common Japanese sculpture, often made of ceramic, which is believed to bring good luck to the owner.

Guildford Cathedral, clouds passing
A short test clip made with the 8mm App on an iPhone 3GS of Guildford Cathedral seen from the amphitheatre at the University of Surrey
Extractor fan HD: The revisiting
In 2009 I uploaded a video shot with a Canon Powershot G7 of an extractor fan on a school in Streatham, London.
This is a short test video of the same subject made with a Canon EOS 550D with an EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. I know I'm not pushing the creative envelope here, but I happened to be walking past the same spot and it seemed as good a time as any to begin practising with the new camera / lens combo.
As of writing this, the original video has been viewed nearly 4,300 times on YouTube, which I just can't explain!

Windblown plastic
A short video note shot with an iPhone of some old plastic caught on top of a wall.
I slowed the playback speed to about 30%, double-tracked the sound and added a bit of echo and reverb. The result is quite eerie.
